How to Reach:

By air, fly into Kullu’s Bhuntar Airport. This is about 52 kilometres from Manali. There are local taxi services available that you can use. If you have a 7-seater car, the trip from Bhuntar to Manali will cost you around $1650. It may be less expensive if it is a sedan or a smaller vehicle. You can fly from Delhi to Kullu and from Chandigarh to Kullu.

By Road: The closest major cities to Manali are Chandigarh (312 kilometres) and New Delhi (553 km). If you want to hike to Bhrigu Lake, you can take a bus from Delhi to Manali and then to the campsite.

Level of Difficulty

Although it is referred to as an easy trek, and it is an ideal ascent to the altitude, it is an excellent trek for both beginners and experienced trekkers. Route of Bhrigu Lake Trek

You must drive from Manali to Gulaba and then hike uphill until you reach Rola Kholi. Manali (2050 metres) to Gulaba (2600 metres) to Rola Kholi (3810 m). It is a 7-kilometer trek that takes about 4-5 hours. The Bhrigu Lake Trek begins in Gulaba, which is 22 kilometres from Manali. Gulaba is located on the way to Rohtang Pass. The trek begins in Gulaba and continues through Rola Kholi. Then it’s a steep uphill trek to Bhrigu and back. The 14-kilometer trek from Rola to Bhrigu Lake and then to Pandu Ropa takes approximately 7-8 hours.
