In Dubai, athletic families can participate in various activities ranging from indoor skiing and sandboarding down desert dunes to water sports and water parks. Dubai is undoubtedly one of the most family-friendly cities in the world. Below are some of the best activities for families in Dubai, especially if you are looking for places with kids’ activities:

Ski Dubai

Who would have guessed you could go skiing in the middle of nowhere?! In the lovely metropolis of Dubai, nothing is off-limits! Ski Dubai, located in the Mall of the Emirates, is a 22,500-square-meter indoor winter paradise that includes 6,000 tonnes of genuine snow!

There are five different slopes with different degrees of difficulty. The longest slope is 400 meters long with a 60-meter drop for the most experienced skiers in the family. The smaller slopes are ideal for beginners and suitable for kids. If your kids aren’t interested in skiing, they can spend time in the Snow Park, which includes bobsled runs, toboggan hills, and even areas where they can construct snowmen! Here, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy!

Kite Beach

Kite Beach is the place to go if you are a family who enjoys being active outside while in Dubai! Kite Beach is one of our favorites because it is such a fun spot to spend the day and introduce the kids to something they have never done before!

Kite Beach is located just outside of the Jumeriah neighborhood and is the spot to go kitesurfing. If you prefer to put your feet on the ground, there are plenty of other things to choose from like beach volleyball, beach tennis, kayaking, and much more!

Desert Safari

A trip to Dubai isn’t complete without a visit to the desert, no matter how old your children are. Several tour companies offer desert safaris, including Platinum Heritage Dubai, which has excellent reviews and a wide range of possibilities. When it comes to planning a desert safari, the most popular activities include camel rides, sandboarding, and a stay at a Bedouin camp.

Visit a Waterpark

Dubai has some of the world’s top water parks, and we urge that you visit at least one of them while you are there. Wild Wadi, Atlantis Aquaventure, and Laguna Waterpark  are the three primary parks, including rides for all ages.
