How to become an IBPS Clerk in the year 2022?

IBPS decides the eligibility requirements for an IBPS Clerk. The institute has given a detailed description of the conditions needed to gain eligibility for the same. IBPS Clerk Eligibility- Education Qualifications

  1. Degree Eligibility: All candidates should have a graduate degree from a University recognised by the Government of India. Candidates having equivalent qualifications that the Central Government recognises are also qualified to apply for the exam.
  1. Other Requirements: Candidates should have operational and working knowledge of computers. The aspirants need to have a degree or diploma in computer operations.
  2. Local Language: The aspiring candidate should be fluent in the language of the state to which they are applying. They should be able to write, read, and speak in the state’s regional language.
  3. Candidates need to convert the CGPA or OGPA to percentage while filling the application form. The CGPA points up to 2 decimals has to be converted while calculating the percentage.
  4. The shortlisted candidates also need to bring certificates showing their percentage of marks signed by the institute authorities.
  5. Candidates who attained web certificates of their degree are requested to bring the certificate initially with a signature from the authority. The date and year of graduating should be mentioned in the documents.
  6. Veterans who do not have civil examination qualifications must be enrolled if they have Army Special Certification of Education or any similar Navy or Air Force certificate after completing more than 15 years of service in the Armed Forces dated before January 2022. 

IBPS Clerk Eligibility- Age Limit

Age is one of the essential factors that affect a candidate’s eligibility. All candidates must be at least 20 years of age to apply for this exam. The maximum period you can apply is up to 28 years.   • Candidates belonging to scheduled castes and tribes have age relaxations.
  • People belonging to other backward classes.

IBPS Clerk Nationality

To apply for the IBPS Clerk Exam, a candidate must fit in these conditions:

  • An Indian National or a refugee from Bhutan, Nepal, or Tibet settled in India.
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, or other Eastern African countries such as Kenya, Zambia, Ethiopia, Uganda, Vietnam, or Zaire permanently settled in India.
  • Candidates from other countries need to show their eligibility certificate issued by the authorities recommended by the Government of India.

Anyone pursuing the IBPS Clerk has to be a graduate and fluent in the regional language. The candidate should practice quantitative aptitude, current affairs, reasoning, and English.
