The Statue of Unity – Know All About World’s Tallest Statue

What is the Statue of Unity?

The Statue of Unity, often known as the highest statue in the world, honours India’s Iron Man Sadar Vallabhai Patel. The statue is approximately 182 metres long and 600 feet tall. It has now received the final touch and is prepared for introduction. On October 31, in honour of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, our honourable prime minister Narendra Modi launched the Statue of Unity.

The Sardar Patel Statue, which is located in Sandhu Bet, was constructed nearby the Narmada Dam in Gujarat. Not only is this statue the largest in the world, but it also set a record for being constructed in the quickest amount of time—33 months—to create a statue of Sardar Vallabhai Patel  – Visit Statue of Unity

What’s unique?

  • Tent City – Only 10 miles from the statue, a beautiful natural resort called the Tent City Narmada has recently been launched. The hideaway is located by the pristine Panchmuli Lake and is surrounded by cascades, knolls, abundant wildlife, and dense backwoods.
  • Three-star hotel – The opening of the “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat” inn is scheduled for December of this year.
  • Review Gallery – A survey exhibition that stands 153 metres tall is the main attraction that draws large numbers of tourists. The exhibit provides comprehensive viewpoints of the Vindhya and Satpura mountain ranges, the Sardar Sarovar Dam, etc. 200 visitors can fit in the show on two separate occasions.
  • Fast lifts – The statue is more appealing thanks to two quick lifts and a nursery. Every day, the lifts take 5000 visitors to the survey display. In addition, there is a historical centre with a show that sheds light on Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel’s life.
  • Selfie point – A selfie point which is situated in nearness empowers guests to take picture-immaculate selfies with the statue out of sight. Also, a mall close-by takes into account the need of the guests.
  • Valley of Flowers In addition, the slopes separating one statue parade from another resemble the “Valley of Flowers.” Various blooms are planted to achieve this.

By focusing on Sardar Patel’s persona, life, and accomplishments, the Statue of Unity will offer visitors a meaningful experience that both instructs and engages. In order to do this, it is anticipated that the statue will depict Sardar Patel in a lifelike and generally accurate manner, while donning his signature garb and assuming a fluid posture. Additionally, a review exhibit at about 500 feet will give visitors a wonderful view of the Sardar Sarovar dam and its surroundings.
