How Effectively EPR Company Saves The World From Plastic Waste?

India is running towards climate apocalypse. Rapid urbanization and growth of the industries are the boons for developing countries. But they also bring curses along with the boons. We are framing the red code for humanity and we keep overlooking the side effects.

Changes in the weather pattern, global warming, geographical anomalies, climate emergencies are creating a big hole in climate. We are polluting the air, water, soil, noise all the purity of nature. We are destructing our mother nature.

Plastic pollution is one of the prime reasons behind this. According to a report, India produces 3.3 metric tonnes of plastic waste in 2019. It is extremely harmful to the earth. Here, EPR companies come as a savior for us.

Manufacturing industries produce lots of product materials from plastic. Big tech companies to small-scale companies use multi-layer plastic materials for packaging. But what about the after-effect? The non-degradable plastic waste products are lying on the ground. It causes tremendous damage to the ecosystem.

Central Pollution Control Board has come up with a new policy that is EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility). The policy was mandated by Govt. of India in 2018 to control waste management. Industrial companies have to make an official EPR registration through EPR companies and recollect the post-consumer plastic products. EPR companies help generate EPR certificates (Plastic Credit Certificate) for them.

Ecoex is India’s first digital plastic EPR company where brand owners, producers, traders, and recyclers PAN India get an online marketplace to sell and purchase plastic waste via e-trading. The trading can happen anytime from any corner of India. We provide Plastic Credit certificates to the companies that registered their names with us.

You can see the real-time prices and rates per kg of different types of plastics (MLP and Non-MLP) state-wise, month-wise and year-wise. You can initiate the trade as per your demand and preferences.

1. MLP Plastic Waste: Multi-Layered Packaging is used for heavy packaging. At least one layer of plastic material should be mixed with paper and metalized polymeric materials. It is not easily recyclable.

2. Non-MLP Plastic Waste: Non-MLP is a non-Multi-Layer Packaging. It is nothing but a single layer of plastic. It is comparatively easier to recycle than MLP.

If you are interested to participate in an auction, you have to undergo a contract and submit a certain amount of bid value in advance to an account provided by Ecoex. When the buyer and the seller agree on a particular price amount during the auction, the traded quantity will be blocked and the plastic credit certificate copy will be generated. The certificate will carry plastic credits that would be beneficial for the certificate holder in the near future.

There are two types of e-auctions provided on our marketplace –

1) Uniform Price Auction and 2) Continuous Market Auction. The highest bids will get the first preference and so on.

All the processes will be available on our digital platform. One has to follow just a few easy steps for digital signing, providing the necessary documents, payment, and transfer of the final certificate copy. It would be done within a blink of an eye.

Your comfort is our main priority. Our management team works together at the ground level. The experts will give you a genuine guide on disposal and recycling methods of the waste materials. As an EPR compliance service, we work on proper EPR planning, EPR certificate model, EPR authorization, etc.

If the plastic wastes are not taken care of, then not only India, the whole world will collapse someday and the day is not too far from us. Our only goal is to make a plastic-free future for our future generation. If our small contribution is able to maintain the balance of the ecological system, then we will be blessed.

Each and every tiny step is important for our survival. India is moving at a high pace towards growth. But we should also take care of the damage that we are causing. I give you a simple example.

Suppose it is a Sunday and you are planning to watch a movie at the theatre. You will not only buy the tickets but you will also fetch a plastic water bottle for each member, grab some chips or popcorn.

Do you actually realize how many plastic materials you just consume in just 10 to 15 minutes? See the bigger picture now. How tonnes and tonnes of plastic wastes are dumping in the garbage collection area.

So, we all need to step up and take the necessary steps. Using plastic wastes as trading materials and recycle them for a better purpose are the appropriate methods.
